Who We Are
Welcome to Trent Bray Swim School (TBSS)
Trent Bray Swim School is a family-run business utilising the many years of swimming skills learnt by the family Directors (Trent Bray, Medea Bray, Sandra and Ian Burrow) sharing with you our knowledge, skill and the commitment to your children’s development as a swimmer.
Proper technique is of the utmost importance at Trent Bray Swim School, our swimming lessons have been developed to give your children the best possible technique. At Trent Bray Swim School we teach with the end result in mind so your children will be learning correct technique right from day 1.

for her King's Service Medal to swimming
We are extremely proud of the amazing work Sandra has put into swimming over the years, and so lucky to have her coaching our swimmers at Trent Bray Swim School. Here are just a few of her achievements.
Sandra has dedicated more than 50 years to swimming as a coach, manager, club administrator and technical official.
Under her leadership her swimmers have:
- Broken over 30 New Zealand Records
- Broken over 150 Auckland Records
- Won over 100 Titles at NZ Championships
- Won over 200 Titles at Auckland Championships
- Coached swimmers to the following International Meets -Youth Commonwealth Games, Commonwealth Games, Youth Olympics , Olympics, Junior World Championships, World Championships, Junior Pan Pacific Games, Pan Pacific Games, Pacific Games, and Tri Series teams
- Last year 09 845 4599 seven of her swimmers were selected for International Teams
- Sandra coached at the 2016 Rio Olympics and at the Youth Commonwealth Games in Trinidad and Tobago in 2023.
